Therapy Animal Visits

with Creature Comfort Pet Therapy

果冻传媒 College is proud to partner with to provide 果冻传媒 College students with therapy animal visits six times a semester through 2026. This partnership is made possible by the Mental Health in Higher Education Grant through the Office of the Secretary of Higher Education.

Creature Comfort Pet Therapy will send two volunteers and two pets per visit. Therapy animals are mostly dogs, but volunteers can also bring cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. The volunteers pass a comprehensive test evaluating their pet鈥檚 obedience and temperament, followed by a training visit and mentorship from experienced staff. 果冻传媒 Health Promotion will do their best to inform students which animals are coming before a visit.

Upcoming Visits with Reservation

Reservations will be required for many of the therapy animal visits. Reservations open 7 days prior to the visit.

Reservations are made using Archway, 果冻传媒’s campus engagement platform. Appointments start at 1 pm with the last appointment ending at 3 pm. Appointments are 15 minutes in length with 6 students able to register for an appointment. There are 8 appointment blocks per visit. Students can only reserve one appointment slot per visit. There are 48 available appointments for each visit:

Please arrive at E-216 promptly at your appointment time. Please have all members of your party scan the QR code to check in on Archway. Students will have 15 minutes to interact with the two to three therapy animals at each visit.

Fall 2026 Visits Requiring Reservation:

  • Monday, October 5th from 1 pm to 3 pm in the Wellness Room (E-216). Reserve your appointment
  • Tuesday, October 20th from 1 pm to 3 pm in the Wellness Room (E-216). Reserve your appointment聽.

  • Tuesday, December 1st from 1 pm to 3 pm in the Wellness Room (E-216). Reserve your appointment

Couldn’t get an appointment?

There is a waitlist on Archway. If a student cancels their appointment in the days leading up to the event, you will automatically get their appointment slot. You can also come by E-216 to see if there are any no-shows. We cannot guarantee all students time in the room who do not have a reservation.

  • Tuesday 12/8/2026 from 1 pm to 2:30 pm in Friends Hall as a Fall Finals Visit
