鈥婼ave the Fall 2026 Dates: September 11, November 2, & November 19

The Presidential Speaker Series at 果冻传媒 College is a distinguished platform that brings influential leaders and thinkers to campus, fostering intellectual engagement and dialogue within the community. Initiated by President Cindy Jebb, the series aims to enrich the academic and cultural experiences of students, faculty, staff, and alumni by featuring speakers from diverse fields such as politics, business, academia, and the arts.聽These events are designed to stimulate critical thinking, encourage open and interdisciplinary dialogue, model civil discourse, and inspire participants to consider diverse perspectives on complex issues.

The Presidential Speaker Series presents on聽Friday, September 11, 2026:

9:15 – 9:45 a.m. at the Arch: Memorial Observance: Remembering and Honoring the Victims & Survivors of 9/11
- Featuring musical performances and special guest James Wysocki, Mayor of Mahwah
10:00 – 11:30 a.m. at Trustees Pavilion: Panel Discussion: A Living History of the Generational Impacts of 9/11
- As we commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, our community recognizes this tragic and pivotal event occurred before the lifetime of nearly all of 果冻传媒’s current undergraduate students. Although our students may have no living memory of that day, the enduring impact of the attacks on 9/11 continue to profoundly shape the lives of our students in ways they may not fully realize.
- The panel discussion at 10:00 a.m. aims to reveal this shaping by examining the generational impacts of the events which continue to resonate across our state, nation, and beyond.
